Matter Costs are now called Matter Expenses

The biggest remaining portion in Curo365 to undergo a renaming is that of Matter Costs. Matter Costs are being renamed to Matter Expenses.

Like with the other portions we have renamed in the last few releases, no functionality change has occurred regarding this. We simply made some name changes in order to make things more in line with the terminology we here most used and therefore to make the product more intuitive to use without extra explanations.

Bills are Now Invoices and Billings are Now Time Entries

BILLS --> INVOICES

BILLINGS --> TIME ENTRIES

Bills have been renamed to Invoices and Billings have been renamed to Time Entries.

These changes may be small, nothing moved, and no functionality changed with it, but we know these changes make things better because it just makes more sense. And when a product is more intuitive, it is easier to use.

We've actually got a couple more upcoming name changes as well. We'll continue to make things better and we want your feedback helping us to things right.

Renaming Portions in Curo365: Bills will become Invoices and Billings will become Time Entries

We will be renaming a few portions in Curo365 in some upcoming releases, and we wanted to give you some notice in advance.

We will first be renaming Bills to Invoices and Billings to Time Entries with a few other changes to follow these.

Even though these changes are straightforward and don't really need any explanation, name changes can be a bit disruptive for a short time, especially when you are just used to things being a certain way, but we know these changes will actually help clarify things and make it easier to more quickly adopt Curo365 for new firms.

We're now utilizing a standard monthly schedule for releasing Curo365 updates

Moving forward, we will be moving to a predictable monthly release schedule to keep things simple.

We will be releasing Curo365 updates generally to all customer environments during the evening of the 2nd Wednesday of each month

We hope with this consistency of releasing updates, we can create better communications, reduce the complexity of releases, and ensure a more smooth experience for everyone.

*If you are part of our Curo365 Beta Program, we will also be releasing the Beta version in the evening of the first day each month. If you are interested in learning more about the Curo365 Beta Program just send us a note within the Curo365 help chat.

March Release Announcement

The March Release has been pushed to all environments. The far majority of the changes this month were around a big focus for us to support Accrual Accounting and the integration with Business Central for such. We still have a little ways to go before we bless Accrual Accounting functionality fully to be generally supported. Along with that focus, we've continued to provide other fixes and improvements with this release that are mentioned in their own posts.
