New Design for the Timers Window

The Timers window now has a new design, and it adds the ability to easily create a new task and start timing right from this window. Give it a try. We know you will like it much better.

A user guide for this is coming soon.

Total Time vs Billable Time

We've added the ability to distinguish between total time and billable time separately, with billable time never exceeding total time.

This distinction will help provide firms insights with the two data points and the valuable conversation to be had when they are different.

A few use cases we wanted to support:
-     giving the timekeeper credit for actual hours worked but still charging the customer for less time
-     measuring the difference between the two, showing "evaporation" of potential funds not collected on

Dedicated Retainer Replenishment Requests

Now you can send your clients a retainer replenishment request at any time. It no longer has to be combined with an invoice.

Keep your retainers full of funds to ensure work performed will be paid and will be paid on time. Maintaining good cash flow is important no matter what business you are in.

A User Guide for this new feature will be linked here soon.

Introducing Simple Payment Plans

Creating simple payment plans are here, and we will be enhancing this new feature in the next few releases.

Now you can create a simple monthly payment plan for as many months as you specify that will start on the 1st of the following month and each subsequent month.

With future enhancements, you will be able to have more control in setting the date to start and payment due dates, as well as selecting the cadence besides monthly.

"Apply All Retainers" Easily

We've added the ability to "Apply All Retainers" at any time. Included in this is first applying available credits. This means that any matters with outstanding balance(s) AND available credits OR a retainer balance will be included when performing this action.

For more details see the updated "Apply Retainer" user guide.

Voiding a Bill

Voiding a Bill sounds like a pretty simple thing to do, and thankfully it actually is now!

Sometimes you just need to void a Bill. That also means dealing with any existing payments, allocations and accounting entries. We do all the heavy lifting for you to make this can-be-complicated scenario into an easy one for you, so that you can focus on practicing law more than practicing accounting.
